James William White IV (born October 21, 1982 in Washington, DC ) is an American professional basketball player .

With a height of 2.01 m, he plays in the position of guard and forward . It owes its nickname Flight 75 to its enormous jumping ability. White has been known since high school for his athleticism and stunning dunking , like dunking off the free-throw line with both hands. James White achieved 2nd place in 2001 in the "McDonald's High School Slam Dunk" competition and in 2006 in the "NCAA College Slam Dunk Contest". After a few attempts in the NBA , e.g. B. at the San Antonio Spurs in 2008, he signed in November 2009 a contract with the Russian basketball club BK Spartak Saint Petersburg in the Super League . After his contract in Russia expired, White ran for the New York Knicks in the NBA from 2012 to 2013 .
