Career

societies

Aas emerged from the youth of the football club Moss FK, which was based in his birthplace, and moved up to the professional team in 1973 and played in the 2nd division until 1976 . As a second division champion, he rose to the first division in 1977 and was second in the championship at the end of the third season. In 1979 he moved to Germany for Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich . He made his Bundesliga debut on January 26, 1980 (19th matchday) in a 3-1 win at home against FC Schalke 04 ; he scored his only goal on February 23, 1980 (22nd matchday) to the 3-0 final score in the home game against VfL Bochum . The defender did not get beyond a "substitute existence" and only completed 13 league games, two DFB Cup games and two in the European Cup in two seasons .

In March 1981 he moved to England for first division club Nottingham Forest , which he left after a season because an injury suffered in November 1981 prevented him from gaining a foothold. From 1983 to 1987 he was again under contract with his former club, relegated in 1985, promoted again in 1986 and became Norwegian champions for the first time - like the team - in his last season in Norway . Since the championship ended on October 10th, Aas moved to Austria for the Bundesliga club FK Austria Wien at the end of his career ; but was no longer used until the end of 1987 .
