Jan Knap
Jan Knap (* 1949 in Chrudim ) is a Czech artist.
In 1969 he emigrated to the Federal Republic of Germany. From 1970 to 1972 he studied at the Staatl. Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf (with Gerhard Richter ). In 1972 he moved to the USA ( New York ). In 1979 he founded the group Normal (with Peter Angermann and Milan Kunc ). From 1982 to 1984 he attended a seminary in Rome. Jan Knap has lived in Planá in Northern Bohemia since 1992 .
