Janiszowice (German Jähnsdorf , Sorbian Jańšojce ) is a place in Gmina Bobrowice in Powiat Krośnieński in the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland .
history
The place was first mentioned in the 14th century. He belonged to the office of Crossen in the Neumark.
In the middle of the 16th century the parish was still completely Sorbian-speaking . An eastern Lower Sorbian dialect was spoken in this area up to the Oder near Krossen . The language change towards German was completed by the middle of the 18th century at the latest.
Since 1816 Jähnsdorf has belonged to the Crossen district in the province of Brandenburg .
It has belonged to Poland since 1945.
