Janna Nandzik
Janna Maria Nandzik (* 1980 in Oldenburg ) is a German screenwriter , director and producer .
Life
Janna Maria Nandzik studied film studies, modern German literature and art history.
Since 2003 she has worked regularly as a writer for the actor and producer Christian Ulmen . From 2008 to 2012 she was the deputy managing director of the film and television production companies Ulmen Television and Ulmen Film in Berlin.
In addition, Janna Maria Nandzik worked as an author and producer in both companies. She co-wrote for the web series and TV show ulmen.tv .
In 2010 she invented and produced the 6-part sitcom DIE SNOBS - You can also without dich (ulmen.tv / ZDFneo), which was nominated for the Grimme Prize in the entertainment category in 2011 .
From 2011 to 2013, Janna Maria Nandzik worked as a director, screenwriter and social media manager on the 14-part cross-media television series About: Kate on behalf of the Franco-German television station Arte (production: Ulmen Television GmbH). The series received the Youth Jury Award For Best Transmedia Work at the Tous Écrans Festival in Geneva in 2013. In 2014 Janna Maria Nandzik was nominated for the concept and implementation of the interactive, multimedia project in the Fiction / Special category of the 50th Grimme Prize .
In 2014, Janna Maria Nandzik held the position of Creative Director as a staff position in the management of Tele5 in Munich. She is a member of the Transmedia Bayern eV association
Janna Maria Nandzik is currently working as a freelance writer, director and producer in Berlin.
Her focus is serial storytelling as well as cross- and transmedia storytelling. Most recently she worked as a writer on the series Jerks. and print (web series) with.
In 2017, Janna Maria Nandzik founded the salon and club "The School of Death", a non-profit organization in Berlin that offers various workshops and discussion salons on the subject of death and dying . The project has set itself the task of integrating the preoccupation with the end of life more naturally in everyday life and placing grief work in a modern context.
