Januário Machaze Nhangumbe (born August 20, 1934 in Panda ) is the former bishop of Pemba .

Life

Januário Machaze Nhangumbe was ordained a priest on December 22, 1962 . Pope Paul VI appointed him on January 15, 1975 Bishop of Porto Amélia .

The episcopal ordination donated him to the Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Agnelo Cardinal Rossi , the same year on March 9; Co- consecrators were Eduardo André Muaca , Bishop of Malanje , and Laurean Cardinal Rugambwa , Archbishop of Dar es Salaam .

He resigned from his office on November 8, 1993.
