Jaroslaw Wassiljewitsch Kabarow ( Russian Ярослав Васильевич Хабаров ; born March 5, 1989 in Magnitogorsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Sibir Novosibirsk in the Continental Hockey League since May 2019 .

Career

Yaroslav Chabarov began his career as a hockey player at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Continental Hockey League in the 2008/09 season . In eight games he stayed without points and received twelve penalty minutes. At European level, he came to Metallurg for a job in the Champions Hockey League , in which he and his team took second place. The entire following season the defender spent with Metallurg's junior team in the newly founded MHL junior league , in which he was champion with Stalnyje Lissy Magnitogorsk.

From the 2010/11 season Chabarow was a regular at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk and won the KHL championship trophy , the Gagarin Cup , with Metallurg 2014 . In November 2017 he received a contract with Amur Khabarovsk until the end of the season .
