The winger then spent a season in North America, where he played for Fargo Force in the junior league United States Hockey League . In the 2010/11 season , Li was on the ice for Atlant Mytishchi in the Continental Hockey League . The team had already selected him in the third round of the 2009 KHL Junior Draft as the 67th player. In parallel to playing with Atlant Mytishchi, he played in his KHL rookie year for their junior team in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga .
From 2011 Li was under contract with Severstal Tscherepowez , but between 2011 and 2013 he only worked with Almas Tscherepowez in the MHL and with Titan Klin . From September 2013 he played for the new farm team Ischstal Ischewsk in the Wysschaja Hockey League , then he moved to HK Lada Tolyatti .
