Jason Canovas

Jason Canovas (born November 21, 1969 in London ) is a sound engineer who was nominated at the 2015 Academy Awards together with Brent Burge for the Oscar in the category of best sound editing for his work on The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies . He is also the recipient of two Golden Reel Awards from the Motion Picture Sound Editors Society. Canovas has been active since the early 1990s and has since been involved in around 40 film productions.
