Jay Cochran

Jay Cochran (born January 19, 1963 in New York City ) is a former American racing driver .
Career
Jay Cochran was active as a driver in US sports car racing for almost three decades. For many years he competed in the IMSA-GTP series and the American Le Mans Series . He competed seven times in the Sebring 12-hour race and twice in the Le Mans 24-hour race . At Sebring, his best place in the final classification was sixth in 2011 ; at Le Mans he dropped out prematurely in both competitions.
His greatest achievement was winning the Road Atlanta 2-hour race in 1994 . This success was also the first race win for the Ferrari 333SP . He was also successful in the Daytona 24-hour race , which he finished in 1995 together with Jeremy Dale and Fredrik Ekblom in second place overall.
