Jean-Charles Castelletto (born January 26, 1995 in Clamart ) is a French - Cameroonian football player .
Career
society
Castelletto began playing football as a child at a club from Brétigny-sur-Orge near the French capital Paris . He was 15 years old when he joined the youth division of the AJ Auxerre professional club in 2010 . After he was called up to the reserve team at the beginning of 2013, he immediately became a regular in the fourth division team. At the beginning of April of the same year, he was awarded a professional contract for the 2013/14 season and made his second division and thus his professional debut in the same week when he was allowed to play from the start in the 0-0 win against Gazélec FC Ajaccio on April 5. He then had to wait more than half a year for his next second division appearance, but was then considered more often. At the beginning of 2014 he made his breakthrough and was part of the starting XI in most games, where he benefited from his versatility in defense and he played in various positions.
In July 2015 he signed with the Belgian first division club FC Brugge and thus moved abroad for the first time. Loans to Royal Excel Mouscron and Red Star Paris followed , before moving permanently to Stade Brest in the summer of 2017 .
National team
Shortly after his move to Auxerre, the youth player was called up for the first time in the French U-16 team and made his debut in the 3-0 win against Belgium on September 21, 2010, where he ran directly as the team's captain. From then on he played regularly for the team until he was promoted to the U-17 in the summer of 2011. With the same team he took part in the EM 2012 , but was eliminated after the preliminary round. He had to wait until May 2013 to be considered for the U-18 and did not get beyond a mission for them. However, he was accepted into the U-19s after the summer break, for which he was also only called up sporadically. In October 2014 he was appointed to the U-20 selection for the first time.
On November 11th, 2017 , Castelletto made his debut for the Cameroon national team . In the World Cup qualifier in Zambia (2-2) he was substituted on for Serge Leuko at half time.
