Jean-François-Joseph Rochechouart de Faudoas
Jean-François-Joseph Rochechouart de Faudoas (born January 27, 1708 in Toulouse , France, † March 20, 1777 in Paris ) was a French cardinal of the Roman Church .
Life
After studying theology at the Sorbonne , which he completed with a licentiate , he became vicar general for the Archdiocese of Rouen for seven years .
Pope Benedict XIV appointed him Bishop of Laon on September 18, 1741 . From 1758 to 1762 as ambassador of France to the Holy See , on January 25, 1762 Pope Clement XIII assigned him . the titular church of Sant'Eusebio and created him on November 23, 1763 as a cardinal priest there . He took part in the conclave of 1769 , but no longer in the conclave of 1774-1775 .
