Jean-François Boucher (born December 1, 1985 in Rosemère , Québec ) is a Canadian ice hockey player with German nationality who was most recently under contract with the Kölner Haie in the German ice hockey league .

Career

Jean-François Boucher began his career on the ice hockey team at the renowned Yale University , for which he played for the National Collegiate Athletic Association for four years from 2004 to 2008 . In summer 2008, which was striker from ERC Ingolstadt of the DEL committed and received a one-year contract. After a season in the DEL, he moved back to North America and signed a contract with the Reading Royals in the ECHL .

In the Royals, however, he received no stakes and spent the 2009/10 season at the CRS Express de Saint-Georges in the Ligue Nord-Americaine de Hockey , in which he completed 28 games and scored 14 points scorer. In July 2010 he switched to the Kassel Huskies from the German Ice Hockey League . After the Huskies were denied their license for the following season, Boucher returned to Canada again in August 2010 and signed with COOL FM 103.5 de Saint-Georges . For the 2012/13 season he agreed on a contractual relationship with the ERC Ingolstadt, for which Boucher had already accrued in the 2008/09 season. He played for ERC Ingolstadt until May 2015 and won the German championship with the Panthers in 2014 .

At the beginning of June 2015 he switched to the Kölner Haien and was under contract there until 2018.
