Career
Morin began his career in the LHJMQ with the Victoriaville Tigres . In the 1998 NHL Entry Draft , the defender was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the fourth round in a total of 109th place and came via the Drummondville Voltigeurs in 2001 in the United Hockey League to the Port Huron Border Cats . After this season he was committed by the Louisiana IceGators , for which the defender played all season games and collected 20 points scorer. The following year, the left shooter moved back to the UHL, where he ran for the Flint Generals and completed a total of three seasons.
His next station was in the Northern Irish city of Belfast , where he played a season in the Elite Ice Hockey League for the then reigning champions Belfast Giants . The following year the Tölzer Löwen became aware of the Franco-Canadian and signed him for the 2007/08 season . With the Upper Bavarians, Morin was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga and was ranked fourth among defenders in the league- wide selection for Player of the Year.
After the Löwen went bankrupt, the defender moved to the German Ice Hockey League for the Straubing Tigers for the 2009/10 season , where he received a one-year contract. After a year in Straubing, he returned to his Canadian homeland in 2010, where he played for COOL FM 103.5 de Saint-Georges from Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey .
