Jean Couzian
Jean Couzian ICPB , also Giovanni Couzian (born March 14, 1874 in Mardin , Turkey , † May 6, 1933 ) was an Armenian Catholic bishop of Iskanderiya in Egypt .
Life
Jean Couzian was ordained a religious priest of the Patriarchal Congregation of Bzommar (ICPB) on May 15, 1898 . On August 27, 1911, he was appointed Bishop of Iskanderiya. The Patriarch of Cilicia Archbishop Boghos Bedros XIII. Terzian and the co-consecrators Archbishop Avedis Arpiarian (later Patriarch of Cilicia) and Archbishop Ghulian Hussig of Mardin initiated him on 22 October 1911. Bishop.
Bishop Couzian was a co-consecrator of Jules Girard SMA as titular bishop of Bulla Regia as Vicar Apostolic of the Nile Delta in Egypt.
