Jeb Ivey (born November 7, 1980 in San José , California ) is an American basketball player . In addition to stations in the German basketball league , Ivey played in Iceland and Finland, where he was able to become champions with his teams, as well as in the second French league LNB Pro B.

Career

The 1.90 m tall and 90 kg heavy point guard played in his home country for the Portland State Vikings and was champion in Iceland with Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur. In the basketball league 2007/08 Ivey went in the basketball league for the newly promoted BG 74 Göttingen on the backcourt positions on the basket hunt. For the Göttingen he was a participant in the BBL All-Star Game and achieved relegation at the end of the season. The following season Basketball Bundesliga 2008/09 he played for the league competitor Eisbären from Bremerhaven . The former two-time participant in the play-offs for the championship, however, played a miserable season and ended up bottom of the table. Relegation could only be achieved by purchasing a wild card . However, Ivey moved to Finland in the Korisliiga , where he won the championship in 2012 with the Nilan Bisons from Loimaa .

In an interview on February 16, 2008, he revealed that he trained up to eight hours a day in his youth. Today he is considered one of the best three-point shooters in the BBL.
