Jecheon ( Kor. 제천 ) is a city in the South Korean province of Chungcheongbuk-do .

Jecheon is located in the north of Chungcheongbuk-do Province and borders on Mungyeong in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province , as well as Wonju and Yeongwol -gun County in Gangwon-do Province . Woraksan National Park is in the urban area . In addition to the surrounding mountains, the city is also known for its lakes, such as the Cheongpunghoban with its cherry blossom festival.

The city has 137,798 inhabitants (as of November 2012) and an area of ​​882.47 km². Mayor is Choi Myeong-hyeon ( 최명현 ).
