Jenő Buzánszky [ ˈjenøː 'buzaːnski ] (born May 4, 1925 in Újdombóvár ; † January 11, 2015 in Esztergom ) was a Hungarian football player .

Buzánszky was a member of the " Golden Elf " ( Hungarian Aranycsapat ), the Hungarian national team, also called Magical Magyars, which was subject to the German selection at the 1954 World Cup in Bern at the Miracle of Bern .

The defender Buzánszky was the only one from the Golden Elf to play not with a Budapest club, but with the Dorogi Bányász from Dorog . In a total of 48 games he appeared for the Hungarian national team, including five times during the 1954 World Cup. He played both in 1953 in the 3: 6 home defeat of the English at Wembley and in 1954 in the final of the World Cup in Bern. In 1952 he became Olympic champion with Hungary.

After 274 league games, Buzánszky ended his active career and started working as a coach. In 1996 he was elected Vice President of the Hungarian Football Association. The Dorogi FC stadium is named after him.

After the death of Gyula Grosics on June 13, 2014, Buzánszky was the last living Hungarian player to take part in the 1954 World Cup final in Bern. So no player from the Hungarian team of the 1954 World Cup is alive anymore. At the time of his death, Hans Schäfer  († November 17, 2017) and Horst Eckel were still living on the German world championship team
