Jenny Sofia Alm (born April 10, 1989 in Uddevalla ) is a former Swedish handball player who was a member of the Swedish national team.

Career

In 2008 Alm rose to the Elitserien with HF Kroppskultur . In the 2009/10 season she won the top scorer's crown in the Elitserien. After Alm played several seasons for Kroppskultur in the Elitserien, she joined IK Sävehof in the summer of 2011 . With Sävehof she won the Swedish championship in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. From summer 2015 she played for the Danish first division team Esbjerg . In 2016 she won the Danish championship. From the 2017/18 season Alm was under contract with København Håndbold , with whom she won the Danish championship in 2018. After the 2018/19 season, she ended her career. She then became a masseuse at IK Sävehof.

Alm played 123 games for Sweden , in which she scored 285 goals. With Sweden, the back player took part in the 2011 World Cup, where she scored two goals in six games. At the 2012 European Championship could not attend due to a knee injury. At the 2014 European Championships , she won the bronze medal with Sweden. She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , the 2016 European Championship , the 2017 World Championship and the 2018 European Championship .

Her sister Frida Alm also plays handball. She belonged to the first division squad of Kroppskultur.
