At the Summer Biathlon Cup in Östersund at the end of August 2008, Jonsson won the sprint race and was third in the pursuit. Jonsson achieved her first World Cup points in the 2008/2009 season with 18th place in the singles in Vancouver-Whistler . In her first appearance as the starting runner of the Swedish women's relay in the 2010/2011 season , she won on January 6, 2011 in Oberhof together with Anna Carin Zidek , Anna Maria Nilsson and Helena Ekholm . Jonsson had her best individual result so far in the same season at the sprint in Antholz on January 21, 2011 with 15th place.
