Jens Rasiejewski (born January 1, 1975 in Marburg ) is a former German soccer player and today's soccer teacher .

During his time as a professional, he played 33 games in the Bundesliga and 107 games in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 2003/04 season he had to end his sporting career due to injury.
For the DFB he played in various junior national teams. In 1991 he took part with the U-16 team at the European Championship , which was held in Switzerland from May 8th to 18th .

Trainer
From 2005 to 2008 Rasiejewski studied sports management in Düsseldorf and also acquired the DFB's A coaching license . For around a year, as part of his studies to become a sports manager, he sat in at Hannover 96 , where he had been the sports coordinator in his “old new” club since April 2008 and supported the work of sports director Christian Hochstätter .
From July 2011 to June 2015, Rasiejewski coached the U-17 team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim as the successor to Xaver Zembrod .
On June 15, 2015, it was announced that Rasijewski will be head of the Sport and Youth Department at VfL Bochum , inheriting from Alexander Richter, who will focus more on management and certification of the youth training centers. In Bochum he works again with the sports director Christian Hochstätter.
As of January 2016, Rasiejewski was an additional assistant coach on the Bochum professional team. In October 2017 Rasiejewski became the interim head coach of VfL Bochum as the successor to Ismail Atalan and finally received a contract as head coach until June 30, 2019 on December 8, 2017. After four defeats in a row, Rasiewjewski, like sports director Hochstätter, was released from his duties on February 7, 2018.
