Career
Jeremy Adduono started his career with the Thunder Bay Flyers in the United States Hockey League in 1994 . A year later he moved to the Ontario Hockey League , a junior league in his native Ontario. There he played for the Sudbury Wolves for three years . He was drawn in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabers in the seventh round in a total of 184th place. After being mainly with Team Canada in the 1998/99 season, he moved to the Rochester Americans , the Sabers farm team, in the American Hockey League in 1999 , where he only played in the final of the play-offs with the in his first season Team was inferior. In the three years in Rochester, Adduono was one of the most important players on the team thanks to his speed, fairness and good technique. In the 2000/01 season he was his team's top scorer. However, he never came to work for the NHL team in Buffalo.
Therefore, he moved in 2002 within the league to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers , the AHL branch of the New York Islanders . Due to several minor injuries, his performance fluctuated in the season, which is why he did not play a game in the National Hockey League with the Islanders . After the season, he decided to move to Europe and accepted an offer from the Kölner Haie from the German Ice Hockey League . In the first two years he failed with the KEC in the quarter-finals of the play-offs. The 2005/06 season was his third and last in Cologne. This time Adduono was able to reach the semi-finals with his team, where they lost to the eventual runner-up DEG Metro Stars . Then he moved to the Iserlohn Roosters in the Sauerland , where he signed a one-year contract. With the Roosters he only just failed to qualify for the pre-playoffs. His contract was not renewed. In the 2007/08 season he moved to Italy, where he played one season for HC Pustertal in Serie A1 . In the 2008/2009 season he went hunting for goals for the second division ice hockey team EVR Tower Stars in Germany. Together with Jeff Richards and Scott May he was the top scorer of his team and made the jump to the semi-finals, in which they were defeated by the EHC Munich . Also in the 2009/10 season Adduono was in the roster of the Tower Stars. However, Adduono suffered a serious shoulder injury in the seventh game of the season, after which he had to pause for around four months before he could make his comeback in the home game of the EVR Tower Stars against the Lausitzer Füchse on January 29, 2010. He scored 13 points scorer in 32 games, including the playoffs. After the season, Adduono decided to end his career due to numerous injuries.
