Jesús Carlos Cabrero Romero (born May 7, 1946 in San Luis Potosí ) is Archbishop of San Luis Potosí , Mexico.

Life

Jesús Carlos Cabrero Romero was ordained a priest on April 12, 1972 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 8, 2008 Bishop of Zacatecas . The president of the Pontifical Council for Health Pastoral Care , Cardinal Javier Lozano Barragán , ordained him episcopal on December 19 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Christophe Pierre , Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , and Fernando Mario Chávez Ruvalcaba , Former Bishop of Zacatecas. As a motto he chose Dar la vida ("give life").

He was named Archbishop of San Luis Potosí on April 3, 2012 and was introduced to office on May 16 of the same year.
