Jhonnes Marques de Souza (born April 22, 1984 in Londrina ) is a Brazilian football player . Since 2015 he has played for FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce in the Fortuna league .

Career

Jhonnes started his career in his hometown at PSTC Londrina . He then played on the Londrina Junior Team . In the summer of 2004 he was awarded to the first division club NK Domžale in Slovenia . After two years in Domžale, he briefly returned to Londrina before being awarded again to Slovenia in January 2007, this time to the NK Celje . After loan deals in Brazil, he was awarded to the second division NK Hrvatski dragovoljac in Croatia in 2009 , with whom he was able to celebrate promotion to the 1st HNL . In the summer of 2010, his contract with Londrina was finally terminated.

After the contract was terminated, Jhonnes moved to Latvia for FK Liepājas Metalurgs . In his second outing he was able to score his first goal when he scored 2-0 in the game against FK Jelgava . After half a year he left Liepājas Metalurgs in February 2011 and joined the Hungarian club Újpest Budapest . In May of the same year, his contract was dissolved after only one league use.

In September 2011 Jhonnes returned to Croatia, this time he went to the first division club NK Varaždin . However, he also left this club early and moved to Tobyl Qostanai to Kazakhstan in January 2012 . In his first game for Qostanai, he scored his first goal against FK Qairat Almaty . After he had only come to 14 league games in his second season in Kazakhstan, he decided to move to Libya to al-Ahly Benghazi . There he could not play a game, however, because the league had been suspended due to political unrest.

For the 2015/16 season Jhonnes moved to Slovakia to FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce . Despite his position as a defender, he was able to become Moravce's second top scorer in his debut season.
