Ji Pengfei

Ji Pengfei ( Chinese  姬 鵬飛  /  姬 鹏飞 , Pinyin Jī Péngfēi ; born February 2, 1910 in Linyi (Yuncheng) , Shanxi Province , Chinese Empire ; † February 10, 2000 , Beijing , China ) was a politician in the People's Republic of China and a member of the Communist Party Party of china . From 1972 to 1974 he held the post of Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China.

After middle school, he attended an academy for military doctors. After 1939 he was increasingly entrusted with political tasks and before his appointment as Foreign Minister he was head of the diplomatic mission in the GDR and its first Chinese ambassador .

In 1979 he became a director of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.
