Jill Troutner (born February 4, 1971 in Detroit Lakes ) is a former American biathlete .

Jill Troutner made her international debut in 1998 in the World Cup in Pokljuka , where she was 61st in her first individual. At the 1998 World Championships in Kontiolahti , she sprinted to 51st place and finished with Rachel Steer , Kara Hermanson Salmela and Kristina Sabasteanski as the final runner with the US season 12. In 1999 she achieved a 19th place in a mass start race at Holmenkollen in Oslo . Space. The placements in this B group race was the best of her World Cup career alongside a 56th place in a pursuit race in Val Cartier . At the 1999 Biathlon World Championships in the same place Troutner was 59th of the individual. In 2000 she won the bronze medal in the relay race at the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk with Ann Sorenson , Kristina Sabasteanski and Nicole Hunt . It was one of the greatest international successes of American biathletes. She finished 14th in sprint and pursuit.
