Jillian Richardson

Jillian Richardson ( Jillian Cheryl "Jill" Richardson; after marriage Richardson Briscoe ; born March 10, 1965 in Guayaguare, Trinidad ) is a former Canadian sprinter , who comes from Trinidad and Tobago . Her specialty was the 400 meter run .

Career

In the 4-by-400-meter relay , she won gold with the Canadian team at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane in 1982 , finished fourth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 and took silver at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles .

1986 followed the silver medal over 400 m at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh . On top of that, she managed to defend the season title with the Canadian team. In 1987, after another silver medal at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis, she was sixth at the World Championships in Rome in the individual competition and came fourth with the Canadian relay.
