Jimmy James Kolker

Jimmy James Kolker (born 1948 in St. Louis , Missouri ) is a United States Ambassador .

Life

Kolker earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Carleton College, Minnesota and a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University. He is married to Britt-Marie Forslund. They have two daughters.

Jimmy Kolker was accredited at the Embassy in Maputo from 1977 to 1979 , at the Embassy in Harare from 1980 to 1981, and in 1987 at the Embassy in London . From 1990 to 1994 he was Deputy Ambassador in Gaborone , Botswana . He was then accredited from 1994 to 1998 in Stockholm under Edward Elliott Elson. Kolker has been head of the HIV / AIDS department at UNICEF since 2007 .
