Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Flyer is an inverted coaster family and children's rollercoaster in the German amusement park Movie Park Germany in the Nickland theme area, which was opened in March 2007 by the Dutch company Vekoma as part of the Suspended Family Coaster series. It is based on the television series Jimmy Neutron on the Nickelodeon television station .
construction
The steel roller coaster is 294 meters long and 13 meters high; 16 people fit on a train. It drives at a speed of 47 km / h and the journey time is approx. 48 seconds. The course of the roller coaster is rather flat and consists of several winding ascents and descents. Technically, the system is a prototype , as it is the first delivery of an inexpensive two-belt track for this type of roller coaster.
The roller coaster cars have been specially adapted. The seat shells of the gondolas are inclined backwards so that the passengers can “fall” into the seat. A hydraulically secured lap bar provides the necessary security . In contrast to other usual shoulder bars, this one is designed for a lot of freedom of movement and a comfortable design of the roller coaster ride.
requirements
The minimum height of the people for the roller coaster is 130 centimeters. Jimmy Neutron's Atomic Flyer is only between 95 and 130 centimeters apart under adult supervision.
