Jiulong (Garzê)

The Jiulong district ( Tibetan : བརྒྱད་ ཟིལ །/ བརྒྱད་ ཟུར ། , inscription after Wylie : brgyad zil / brgyad zur ; also Gyaisi , Gyesil , Gyesur ; Chinese  九龙 县 , Pinyin Jiǔlóng Xiàn ) is a district in the northwest of the Chinese province of Sichuan . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the Garzê Autonomous District of the Tibetans. Its main town is the large community of Xia'er or Garba (chin. 呷 尔 镇 , Xiā'ěr ). It has an area of ​​6,766 km² and has about 50,000 inhabitants (2004).
