Dêgê ( Tibetan སྡེ་ དགེ ། Wylie sde dge ; also Dege or Derge ; Chinese  德格 县 , Pinyin Dégé Xiàn ) is a district of the Garzê Autonomous District of the Tibetans in the northwest of the Chinese province of Sichuan . Its main place is the large community Goinqên ( 更 庆 镇 Gèngqìng ).

Dege Parkhang , the "Dêgê Printing House " ( 德格 印 经 院Dege yinjingguan ), has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-183) since 1996 .

The Dzongsar Monastery is on its territory, as is the Manjin Monastery , which was built in the 15th century .
