Garzê is a district of the Garzê Autonomous District of the Tibetans in the northwest of the Chinese province of Sichuan . Its main town is the large community of Garzê (Gānzī 甘孜 镇).

In 1999 it had 56,264 inhabitants.

Beri Gonpa Monastery ( Baili si ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-1043) since 2006 .

At the community level, the district is composed of one large community and twenty-one communities . These are (pinyin / chin.):
