Jo Tae-keun ( kor. 조태근 ; born April 26, 1985 in Gumi ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Jo Tae-keun learned to play football in the school team of Daeryun High School and the university team of Jeonju University. He signed his first contract with Suwon FC in Suwon in 2008 . Here he played for a year. In 2009 he was without a club. In 2010, the third division team Busan Transportation Corporation FC from Busan signed him . Until 2012 he was on the field 40 times for the club. He went to Thailand in 2013 and signed a contract with the first division club Chainat Hornbill FC in Chainat . For the club he scored eight goals in 100 games. He ran the 2017 series for second division Chiangmai FC from Chiangmai . In mid-2017 he moved to Hong Kong and joined the first division club Eastern AA . After six months, he left Hong Kong and went to his native South Korea , where he played one season with second division club Daejeon Citizen . In 2019 he again signed a contract in Thailand with the second division Ayutthaya United FC in Ayutthaya . For Ayutthaya he played twelve games in the Thai League 2 . At the end of 2019, his contract was not extended. He has been without a contract or association since the beginning of 2020.
