Joachim Hennze

Joachim J. Hennze (* 1957 ) is a German art and architecture historian.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1976 in Pforzheim , he studied history , art history and folklore in Erlangen and Freiburg and graduated in 1982 with a Magister Artium . In 1986, he was charged with a thesis on the Franconian Baroque architect family basement Dr. phil. PhD. From 1987 to 1988 he worked for the Baden-Württemberg State Monuments Office . From 1988 he worked as a scientific inventory manager at the Hohenloher Freilandmuseum Schwäbisch Hall-Wackershofen . From 1990 he designed the Museum for Screws and Threads at the Würth company in Künzelsau - Gaisbach . From 1992 he worked as a department head for technology, economics and Neckar shipping history at the Städtische Museen Heilbronn . Since 2004 he has been the head of the Lower Monument Authority for the city of Heilbronn.

He is a member of the Baden-Württemberg Museum Association , the German Water History Society , the Heilbronn Historical Association, the Historical Association for Württemberg-Franconia and the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
