Joanna Gleich (born September 28, 1959 in Kluczbork , Poland ) has lived and worked as a painter since 1979, with her home and studio in Vienna .

Life

Immediately completed an artistic training course at the Lyceum in Opole by 1979 . From 1979 to 1983 she studied philology (training as an interpreter and translator ) at the University of Vienna . 1985 to 1990 he studied painting with Wolfgang Hollegha at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . She received her diploma with distinction.

1985 visited DC at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg the class for painting with Josef Mikl , 1986, the class of glass windows at Georg Meistermann . In 1994 she went to New York to study .

Since 2001, Gleich has been teaching painting classes at various painting academies. a. in Bad Reichenhall , Goldegg and Geras .

She is the wife of the Viennese art professor a. D. and artist Gerhard Gleich .
