Jochen Haussmann (born July 14, 1966 in Esslingen am Neckar ) is a German politician of the FDP / DVP . He has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since 2011 .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1985 at the Staufer Gymnasium in Waiblingen and completing his military service , Haußmann studied business administration at the Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education from 1986 to 1989 . The training company was the Technical Works of the City of Stuttgart AG (TWS). From 1990 to 1998, Haussmann worked as administrative manager of the Stuttgart, Freiburg and Reutlingen branches of Still GmbH ( Hamburg ). From 1999 to 2002 he was an authorized signatory and head of human resources, marketing , controlling and organization at Payr GmbH Industriebau in Remshalden . From 2000 to 2001 he completed a postgraduate course in project management at the Bauhaus University Weimar . Since 2003 he has been authorized signatory and commercial director of the Schatz Group in Schorndorf . After being elected to the Baden-Württemberg state parliament , he initially reduced his working hours in 2011, and has been on leave since July 2012.

Political activity

Jochen Haußmann is a member of the district assembly of the Rems-Murr district and has been deputy chairman of the FDP / FW parliamentary group there since 2004 . In the state elections in 2011 , he received a second mandate in the 15th state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . In his Landtag constituency Schorndorf he achieved the highest percentage of votes for the FDP in the country with 8.4 percent. He was able to defend this mandate in the state elections in 2016 with a share of the vote of 12.6 percent. He is deputy chairman of the FDP / DVP parliamentary group and spokesman for transport and infrastructure, work and social order as well as families, women and senior citizens . From September 2012 to 2018 he was also a member of the regional assembly of the Stuttgart Region Association .

Jochen Haußmann lives in Kernen in the Rems Valley . He is married, has three children and belongs to the Protestant denomination.
