Jochen Kirchhoff (born August 2, 1944 in Torgau ) is a German author specializing in natural philosophy . He wrote monographs on Giordano Bruno , Schelling and Copernicus .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1963, Jochen Kirchhoff studied history , philosophy and German in Erlangen and Berlin . After several years in school he worked as a lecturer at the Lessing University in Berlin . From 1991 to 2002 he taught natural philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin, initiated by Rudolf Bahro .

Kirchhoff turns against the worldview of the prevailing natural science . He dealt with the thinking of Giordano Bruno in several publications . In his book, Rooms, Dimensions, World Models , published in 1999 . He describes the possible effects of Bruno's world model on today's cosmology, impulses for another natural science . Kirchhoff advocates an approach that he calls "integral deep ecology ".

In addition to books, he wrote articles and essays in magazines such as Sterne und Weltraum , Der Spiegel , raum & zeit and in the yearbook Aufgang .
