Joel Abu Hanna (born January 22, 1998 in Troisdorf ) is a German football player . He plays for the Ukrainian first division side Zorya Luhansk .

Career

Joel Abu Hanna began his career with the clubs SC Uckerath and TuRa and FC 05 in Hennef (victory) . In 2008 he moved to the youth team of Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen .

At the end of August 2017, he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for 1. FC Kaiserslautern . There he was used in eleven games and was relegated to the third division at the end of the season .

After relegation with 1. FC Kaiserslautern, Abu Hanna moved to the second division promoted 1. FC Magdeburg in the 2018/19 season , with whom he signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2020. Without a competitive game, the defender was loaned to SC Fortuna Köln for the second half of the third division season 2018/19 . For the 2019/20 season, Abu Hanna moved to the Ukrainian first division club Sorya Luhansk , where he received a two-year contract.

Abu Hanna was born in Troisdorf . He is the son of an Israeli and a German.
