Johan Andersson (born August 22, 1983 ) is a Swedish football player . The midfielder won the Norwegian championship title with Stabæk Fotball in 2008 .

Career

Career start in Sweden

Andersson started playing soccer at BK Fram . In 1997 he moved to the youth department of Landskrona BoIS . There he moved up to the professional squad in 2001 and made his debut for the team in the Superettan . In 23 season appearances, in which he was in the starting line-up twelve times, he helped the club to return to the Allsvenskan with two goals this season . Here, too, he initially remained a supplementary player and continued to oscillate between the starting line-up and the starting line-up. Nevertheless, after he had already gone through the Swedish U17 and U-18 selections, he was appointed to the Swedish U-21 selection for the first time in 2002 . There he made his debut on the occasion of the 1: 3 defeat against the Russian junior national team when he came on in the 66th minute of play for Babis Stefanidis . As a result, he was able to establish himself in the selection team.

In the course of the 2003 season , Andersson made his final breakthrough at his club and he was regularly featured in the starting eleven. In the following season he contributed with five goals this season to keep up the league, before he was hardly used in the following season due to injury and had to relegate to the second division with the Landskrona BoIS. In the Superettan, he shone as a regular goalscorer and scored eight goals, but when he was fifth in the table, he missed promotion with the team.

With his good performance, Andersson aroused the interest of those in charge of Malmö FF and sports director Hans Borg praised his great potential in view of the free transfer obligation. Before the start of the season, he suffered a knee injury that led to a forced break. In May he returned to Sören Åkeby's team and scored two goals in an 11-0 win over Stenungsunds IF in the national cup . Due to his constant susceptibility to injuries, however, he was unable to earn a permanent place at the club and only made five goalless season appearances in the 2007 season .

Moving abroad and first successes

After the unlucky season at Malmö FF, the newly signed coach Roland Nilsson announced that he would no longer plan with Andersson. Then the Norwegian club Stabæk Fotball , who was coached by Swedish coach Jan Jönsson , took the player under contract. At the side of his compatriots Pontus Farnerud , Daniel Nannskog and Fredrik Risp , the midfielder, who received the shirt number 19, established himself in the regular formation of the team from Bærum and developed into a regular goal scorer in Norway. With twelve goals this season, which meant second place behind teammate Nannskog in the Tippeligaen scorers list with José Mota from Molde FK , he made a decisive contribution to winning the championship.

After the season, however, Andersson's susceptibility to injury returned: After persistent knee problems, he had to undergo an operation. The association expected a downtime of at least two months, whereby the rehabilitation period could extend up to twelve months. At the end of August 2009 he returned to the football field as a substitute and scored two goals by the end of the season. In the following seasons he established himself again in the club's squad and was used regularly. However, the club could no longer build on the successes and slipped into the bottom third of the table.

In December 2011 Anderssons move to league rivals Lillestrøm SK , where he signed a three-year contract. Under coach Magnus Haglund , he wavered between bench and starting line-up.
