Johann Gottlob Immanuel Breitkopf
Johann Gottlob Immanuel Breitkopf (born November 23, 1719 in Leipzig ; † January 28, 1794 there ) was a German music publisher and typographer .
Life
Breitkopf was the son of the publisher Bernhard Christoph Breitkopf , who founded the Breitkopf & Härtel publishing house . He designed fonts , including the important Breitkopf Fraktur .

Goethe often stayed in Breitkopf's house during his studies in Leipzig. He took part in amateur performances and music events and was friends with Breitkopf's daughter Theodora Sophie Constantia (Constanze, 1748-1818).
