Johann Philipp Stainhauser von Treuberg

Johann Philipp Stainhauser , from 1777 von Treuberg (born May 15, 1719 in Lohr am Main , † April 15, 1799 in Salzburg ) was a German law scholar and university professor .

Life

Stainhauser studied philosophy , history and both rights at the universities of Würzburg , Heidelberg and Mainz . After his studies he became court master for a young Count Fugger , whom he accompanied during his studies and on trips through France and the Netherlands . Then he went to Wetzlar . There he continued his education at the Reich Chamber Court before moving to Vienna in 1750 as the Count of Fugger-Kirchheimsch Chancellery and dealing with the Reichshofrat . During his time he worked for various counts and princely houses, and also represented the Reichenau monastery in the dispute against the Constance monastery . During his time in Vienna he came into closer contact with Heinrich Christian Freiherr von Senckenberg .

Stainhauser was born on 31 August 1752 by the University of Salzburg to the doctor of law doctorate . On November 4, 1752, he succeeded Franz Christoph von Herz in Herzfeld (1712–1752) as Professor of Law and finally, on November 30, 1752, he became a real councilor . With diploma of 1 June 1757 he was appointed Imperial Hofpfalzgrafen appointed and with a diploma of 20 December 1777 the title of Treuberg in the kingdom nobility raised .

Stainhauser had a large specialist library.
