Johanna Tomek
Johanna Tomek (* 1940 in Vienna ) is an Austrian director , director and actress .
Life
Tomek began various studies at the University of Vienna and the Technical University of Vienna without completing them. She successfully completed her acting training and took on directing and acting engagements in Austria and Germany. In the opening year 1978 she was a member of the ensemble at the Wiener Schauspielhaus under the directorship of Hans Gratzer , 1981 founding member of the Theater Drachengasse under the directorship of Emmy Werner before she founded the " Theater mbH " together with the stage and costume designer Werner Schönolt in 1983 , which she headed it until it closed in 2005.
In addition to her work at the theater, Tomek was employed as an actress in television and film and took over speaking positions for radio and television documentaries. She received various prizes and awards.
