John Beckman
John Beckman (born October 22, 1895 in New York City , † June 22, 1968 in Miami , Florida ) was an American basketball player . Between 1913 and 1930 he played in various professional teams in different leagues, but he is known for his time with the Original Celtics in the 1920s . Beckman was six feet tall and played in the forward position . On April 26, 1973 , he was posthumously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame .
