John Coffey at the Bright Companions (2007) release show

After the two EPs White Like the New Sky (2005) and Spring (2007), the album Vanity was released in 2009 . The band toured with bands like Underoath , Cancer Bats , Architects , The Chariot and The Ghost of a Thousand through several European countries. In 2011 the band raised enough funds through a crowdfunding campaign on SellaBand to record their second album, Bright Companions . It was recorded in the Gröhndahl Studios in Sweden with producer Pelle Gunnerfeldt ( The Hives , Refused ) and Jag Jago (formerly guitarist with Ghost of a Thousand) and was released in 2012.

style

The Visions described the band's style as "Post-Whatever-Bastard of rock 'n' roll , punk , hardcore and a lot of chaos". The Ox-Fanzine calls him a “pig-rock-impregnated hardcore steam train” [sic!] And names Refused and The Bronx as comparable bands . Laut.de also names Kvelertak and Royal Republic and describes the music played as "a sound between brutality, sophisticated arrangements and rough fun".
