John Francis Noll

John Francis Noll (born January 25, 1875 in Fort Wayne , Indiana , † July 31, 1956 ) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Fort Wayne .

Life

John Francis Noll received on 4 June in 1898 by the Bishop of Fort Wayne , Joseph Rademacher , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope Pius XI appointed him bishop of Fort Wayne on May 12, 1925. He received his episcopal ordination on June 30th of the same year by the Archbishop of Chicago , George William Cardinal Mundelein ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Nashville , Alphonse John Smith , and the Bishop of Corpus Christi , Emmanuel Boleslaus Ledvina .

On September 2, 1953, Pope Pius XII awarded him . the personal title Archbishop.
