John Thomas "JT" Hatch (born February 12, 1996 in Mesa , Arizona ) is an American volleyball player .

Career

Hatch is the son of a basketball coach and a volleyball coach, so that he was active in both sports as a child. He began his volleyball career at Mesa High School, where he played as a setter, sweeper and outside attacker. From 2015 to 2018 he studied at the University of California, Los Angeles and played on the university team UCLA Bruins. As captain of the junior national team, he took part in the 2015 U21 World Cup in Mexico. During his time at UCLA, he also worked as a coach. After completing his studies, the outside attacker moved to Al-Ahli SC in Qatar in 2018 . In 2019, Hatch was hired by the German champion Berlin Recycling Volleys .
