John Manz

John Raymond Manz (born November 14, 1945 in Chicago , USA ) is an American Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Chicago .

Life

John Manz received on 12 May 1971 by the Archbishop of Chicago, John Cardinal Cody , the sacrament of Holy Orders . Until 1978 he was a chaplain in the Providence of God Church parish . From 1978 to 1983 Manz was chaplain in the parish of St. Roman . John Manz was pastor of the parish of St. Agnes of Bohemia from 1983 to 1996 .

January 23, 1996 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Mulia and auxiliary bishop in Chicago. The Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Joseph Bernardin , ordained him episcopal on March 5 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Belleville , Wilton Daniel Gregory , and the Bishop of Lubbock , Plácido Rodríguez CMF .
