John Zaremba

John Zaremba (born October 22, 1908 in Chicago , Illinois , † December 15, 1986 in Newport Beach , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Zaremba worked as a journalist for the Chicago Tribune , among others, until the late 1940s , before moving to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. He had a first small, uncredited feature film role in Pirates of the High Seas in 1950 and then starred in both television productions and B-movies like Flying Saucers Attack . From the late 1950s, he worked mainly for television and received guest roles in various successful television series . Between 1957 and 1962 he was seen in various roles in seven episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents . In 1966 he received one of the leading roles in the science fiction series Time Tunnel , which was discontinued after a season of 30 episodes. From 1978 until his death he had a recurring guest role on the series Dallas , in which he saw the doctor Dr. Harlen Danvers played. His feature film credits, among other counts Disney - Comedy Herbie Rides Again .

Zaremba was married and had three children.
