Jonathan Amos
Jonathan Amos is a British film editor .
Life
Amos has appeared as an independent editor since 2004 and has worked on more than two dozen productions, initially until the end of the 2000s, mainly on television series such as Spooks - In the sights of MI5 and Ashes to Ashes - Back to the 80s . In 2014, he won the Sundance Film Festival's documentary 20,000 Days on Earth the award for best editing in a foreign documentary.
In 2018, he and Paul Machliss were nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Pattern for working together on Baby Driver . The two also received a number of other nominations and awards, including a. for the British Academy Film Award .
In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
