Jordan Hendry (born February 23, 1984 in Lanigan , Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who was last under contract with the AIK in the HockeyAllsvenskan until summer 2015 .

Career

Jordan Hendry began his career as a hockey player in the team at the University of Alaska Fairbanks , for which he was active from 2002 to 2006. He then received a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on July 17, 2006 as a free agent .

First, however, he played for a year and a half for their then farm team , the Norfolk Admirals from the American Hockey League , for which he made his professional ice hockey debut in the 2005/06 season . In the 2007/08 season , the defender played for the first time in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Blackhawks, for which he scored four scorer points in 40 games. In the 2008-09 season , the left-shooter was mainly on the ice for Chicago's new AHL farm team, the Rockford IceHogs . In the 2009/10 season he won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks . The 2011/12 season began the defender with the Houston Eros in the American Hockey League, before he was equipped with a contract until the end of the season from HC Lugano from the National League A in early November 2011 . In early July 2012, Hendry was signed by the Anaheim Ducks , but played only two NHL games for the Californians in his only season.

For the 2013/14 season, the Canadian was signed by the Straubing Tigers from the German Ice Hockey League . In February 2014 he moved to the Svenska Hockeyligan for AIK , but rose with the team at the end of the 2013/14 season in the HockeyAllsvenskan . In the following year Hendry acted as assistant captain of the team and recorded 12 scorer points from 51 games, but received no new contract after the end of the season.
